The right way to dry a sweater

Post time: Jan-10-2023

You can dry your sweater directly. Squeeze the water out of the sweater and hang it for an hour or so, when the water is almost lost, take the sweater out and lay it flat to dry until it is eight or nine minutes dry, then hang it on a hanger to dry normally, this will prevent the sweater from being deformed.

Plastic bags can also be used instead of net pockets, or use mesh drying bags, how convenient. If you are drying several sweaters together, put the dark colored ones underneath so as to prevent the dark colored clothes from losing color and causing the light colored ones to stain.

The sweater can also be dried with a towel to absorb the water, and then the dried sweater will be laid flat on a bed sheet or other flat surface, wait until the sweater is almost dry and not so heavy, this time you can hang dry with hangers on it.

If conditions allow, you can put the clean sweater in a laundry bag or bundle it with stockings and other strips, put it in the washing machine and dehydrate it for a minute, which also allows the sweater to dry quickly.

Generally speaking, it is not recommended to put the sweater directly into the sunlight, as this can easily lead to discoloration of the sweater. If it is a wool sweater, you must read the label instructions when washing it to avoid washing it in the wrong way, leading to a loss of warmth.
